Scientific Visual’s Lead Scientist Dr Caroline Chèze will speak at the German Crystal Growth Conference (DKT 2026) held in in Karlsruhe, Germany 4-6 March 2026.
On Wednesday 4 March, Dr Cheze will present in Session 1, “Growth methods for optical crystals,” at 13:55. Her talk is titled “3D defect mapping in semiconductors crystals: Volumetric inspection for enhanced growth feedback” and will highlight how raw crystal tomography helps to improve yield of crystal growth. She will show 3D scans of several crystal types and statistical approach to the growth imprevement.
The DKT 2026 brings together experts in crystal growth and characterization, offering a forum to discuss state‑of‑the‑art methods for optical and semiconductor crystals. We look forward to engaging with the crystal‑growth community in Karlsruhe.
